Air Fryer Chili Garlic Tofu
Air Fryer Chili Garlic Tofu is air fried until crispy and then coated in a spicy, sweet and tangy sauce. Serve over rice or quinoa or make it into a wrap. It’s delicious enough on its own to be eaten as is. Even better with steamed broccoli.

- 1 package super firm tofu
 - 1/2 cup cornstarch, arrowroot, or tapioca
 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
 - 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
 - 1 1/2 tablespoons swerve or brown sugar
 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
 - 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
 - 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
 - 2 green onions, sliced
 
Instructions
- Wrap tofu in multiple layers of paper towels. Place a cast iron pan or something heavy on top. Let sit for 30 minutes. Or you can use a tofu press.
 - Cut tofu into cubes.
 - Place cornstarch in a large zip top bag. Shake to coat. Remove tofu pieces, shaking off excess and place in a medium bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil and gently toss.
